Unitree expects to at least double its 2026 robot shipments from a 2025 level above 6,500 units, and possibly to come close to tripling it. Irving Chen, the company's director for Asia-Pacific and other regions, gave the guidance in an interview, per Nikkei Asia. Unitree builds four-legged and humanoid robots, and plans to fund a plant sized at about 20,000 robots a year with proceeds from its approved listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange's tech-focused STAR Market. More than 70% of its humanoid revenue comes from research and education buyers, with industrial applications at 9%. Its prospectus puts 2025 revenue at 1.71 billion yuan ($240 million).
