Setting the record straight.

Last updated: 2026-06-12

A daily brief is only worth reading if it is right. We work to get every issue correct — including faithful translation from the original Chinese — and when we miss, we fix it quickly and in the open. Use this page to report errors and to see the corrections we have made.

Found a mistake? Tell us.

If something in China Tech Daily looks wrong, let us know. The quickest way is to email ctd-corrections@theaipi.org.

So we can check it fast, please include:

  • the date of the issue, and the headline or desk of the item
  • what we got wrong, as specifically as you can
  • a source for the correct information, if you have one

How we handle corrections

We rigorously manually review every report. When we confirm a mistake, we fix the online version of the issue, add a dated note to that issue, and record it in the log below. We aim to reply to substantive reports within one business day.

We treat two kinds of changes differently:

  • Corrections fix errors of fact, such as a wrong name, company, figure, or agency, a mistranslation, or a mischaracterized mechanism. We always log these.
  • Clarifications sharpen wording that was correct but easy to misread. We note these when they matter.

Small typo fixes that do not change meaning are made without a log entry.
