Joint modules are the powered joints that give a robot's legs and arms their movement, and making them on the same site is what lets the plant turn out complete robots and core components together. Magiclab, founded in early 2024, showed a full-size humanoid, a wheeled industrial humanoid and a lightweight four-legged robot at this year's World Artificial Intelligence Conference. The world-model route, which Unitree open-sourced as UnifoLM-WMA-0 in September 2025, learns how the physical environment behaves so a robot can predict what an action will do before it acts. - **China Telecom's SIM anti-fraud interface becomes a global carrier standard** — China Telecom's Tianyi IoT unit has put an anti-fraud interface for internet-of-things SIM cards live on the GSMA Open Gateway map, the carrier said. The definition file has gone into CAMARA, the Linux Foundation open-source project, so other carriers build against a specification a Chinese state carrier wrote. The interface binds a SIM card to one device and limits where it may operate. If that binding changes abnormally, or a device powers on outside its authorized region, the system can intercept it in real time. GSMA Open Gateway is the mobile operators' association framework of standard carrier interfaces, used by more than 70 operators in more than 50 countries.
